Vitaly Anatolyevich Safronov (born June 6, 1973, Kaluga) is a retired Russian footballer who played as a forward and midfielder.

Early Career and Education

Safronov began his football journey with the guidance of coaches Alexander Pavlov and Yuri Ignatov. He graduated from the Makhov State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports, earning a higher education.

Later Career and Retirement

After Fakel's relegation to the first division in 2001, Safronov had brief stints with Volga-Gazprom and Salut-Energia before returning to Fakel. He remained with the Voronezh club until 2004, making 80 appearances and scoring 26 goals.
