Background

Artem Bazyliewych was born into a footballing family in Ukraine. His father, Anatoliy, played for Zhytomyr's "Khimik" and Okhotnykiv's "Chaika."

Club Career

Bazyliewych's youth career saw him representing "Tavria" in Simferopol and "Shakhtar" in Donetsk. He made his Ukrainian Second League debut for "Shakhtar-3" in 2007. Between 2012 and 2013, he played for "Krymteplytsia" in the Ukrainian First League. In 2013, he briefly joined "Nyva" in Ternopil.

After Crimea's annexation by Russia, Bazyliewych obtained Russian citizenship. He played for Simferopol's TSK in the Crimean Championship before returning to "Krymteplytsia" in 2018.

International Career

Bazyliewych debuted for Ukraine's under-17 team in 2005 and played 18 matches for them. He made his under-19 debut in 2007 and was selected for the UEFA European Under-19 Championship in 2009, serving as a backup goalkeeper.

Achievements

Bazyliewych was part of Ukraine's team that won the 2009 UEFA European Under-19 Championship.
