A Chinese woman with inverted feet

This woman refuses to acknowledge herself as disabled - she insists that she is perfectly fine. The fact that the feet of this young Chinese woman are turned backwards does not hinder her ability to walk or even run. In fact, she is considered the fastest waitress at her job, serving customers faster than all her colleagues with normal feet.

Wang Fang

Biography of Wang Fang

Wang Fang was born and lives in China, and she is now around 30 years old. Despite her unusual feet, she is able to move around excellently. When she was born and the doctors saw her inverted feet, their prognosis was discouraging - they believed she would never be able to walk. However, Wang decided to take control of her own life and she had no intention of spending it in a wheelchair. Even as a child, she learned to walk, and those who witnessed how she moved were amazed. Her legs are truly unusual - nature designed Wang's feet to be reversed, with her heels forward and toes backward.

Determination and Independence

In her teenage years, Wang strongly refused to accept herself as disabled, even though everyone around her insisted otherwise. She even declined to receive disability pension. In order to ease the financial burden on her parents, Wang found work as a waitress. This job, which can be challenging even for able-bodied individuals, was not easy for her. Standing all day, constantly moving, and carrying heavy trays with outstretched arms... Yet Wang managed exceptionally well. Her strong desire to prove to everyone, including herself, that her inverted feet were not a death sentence, helped her overcome any obstacles. "I can run faster than all my friends," proudly says Wang, "so don't consider me disabled."

Unique but Happy

Wang also claims that the only thing she does differently from others is how she wears her shoes. Today, she is a fully grown adult with a son who has perfectly normal feet. He is proud of his unique mother, who manages both work and household chores much faster than other women. Wang herself is very happy that she was able to overcome not only nature but also societal expectations. She firmly believes that labeling people based on their appearance should never be done, as it can deeply hurt and undermine those who are more vulnerable. As for herself, she is a very strong woman, but Wang still remembers how difficult it was for her in her childhood and teenage years, when she had to fight and prove herself every day.
