Early Life and Relocation to Singapore
Wang Yuegu was born in Anshan, Liaoning Province, China. In 2004, she relocated to Singapore and subsequently became a Singaporean citizen.
Olympic Silver Medalist (2008)
At the 2008 Beijing Olympics, Wang Yuegu teamed up with Li Jiawei and Feng Tianwei to represent Singapore in the women's table tennis competition. The Singaporean trio captured the silver medal, falling only to the dominant Chinese team.
World Championship Title (2010)
Wang Yuegu's success continued in 2010 when she won the Team World Championship with the Singaporean team in Moscow. The Singaporean women's table tennis team triumphed over their rivals to claim the coveted title.
