Biography of Willer Oliveira

Willer Oliveira is a Brazilian football player who currently plays for the Belarusian club "Smorgon". He began his professional career playing for the Brazilian club "Itapipoca Esporte" from 1999 to 2001.

International Experience

In 2001, Oliveira joined the Argentine club "Independiente" for a short period before moving to Russia to play for several clubs. He played for "Anzhi" in Makhachkala from 2002 to 2004, scoring 2 goals in 36 matches. He then moved to "Dynamo" in Bryansk from 2004 to 2005, where he played 42 matches. Oliveira then joined "Luch-Energiya" in Vladivostok from 2005 to 2006. During this time, he showed his dribbling skills and became a fan favorite due to his beautiful playing style.

Struggles and Loan Spells

Despite his technical abilities, Oliveira struggled to establish himself at the highest level in Russia. He often lost possession of the ball due to his tendency to show off. He started his Russian career with "Anzhi" under the guidance of coach Gadzhi Gadzhiyev but failed to make an impact. Oliveira frequently played for the reserve team of "Anzhi" and occasionally displayed a beautiful and effective game. One notable moment was when he scored a fantastic free-kick goal against the reserves of Moscow's CSKA. Unable to make a breakthrough at "Anzhi," Oliveira moved to "Dynamo" in Bryansk.

Success at "Luch-Energiya" and Loan to "Orel"

During his time at "Dynamo," Oliveira became a regular starter and one of the team's leaders. He impressed fans with his beautiful playing style. In 2005, after his successful stint at "Dynamo," Oliveira was bought by the club "Luch-Energiya." However, he mostly played as a substitute for the team. One of his most successful matches for "Luch-Energiya" was a cup game against "Rostov." Thanks to Oliveira's beautiful and effective play, "Luch" advanced to the next round of the cup but eventually lost to Moscow's "Spartak" in both matches (0:1; 0:1). At the end of the 2005 season, "Luch" officially secured promotion to the Russian Premier League. However, Oliveira did not get the opportunity to play in the Premier League for "Luch" and mostly played for the reserve team, where he often scored goals. In the summer of 2006, "Luch" loaned Oliveira to "Orel" until the end of the season. Despite scoring 7 goals in just a few months, Oliveira couldn't prevent "Orel" from being relegated from the first division.

Later Career

In April 2007, Oliveira signed a contract with the Lithuanian club "Suduva." After a year, in the summer of 2008, he signed a contract with the Belarusian club "Smorgon," where he continues to play to this day.
