Billy Burke is an American actor born in Bellingham, Washington. He rose to fame portraying Charlie Swan in the 2008 film "Twilight" and Gary Matheson in the second season of the TV series "24."

Early Life

During his adolescence, Burke played in a band and pursued drama at Western Washington University. After graduating, he joined the Annex Theatre, New City Festival, and A.H.A. Theater in Seattle.

Television Career

Burke's television credits include guest appearances in "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine," "Party of Five," "Gilmore Girls," and "Karen Cisco." He played Detective Eric Box in the TV series "Without a Trace" (2008) and appeared in "Feast of Love" alongside Selma Blair and Morgan Freeman.

Film Breakthrough

Burke's breakthrough role came as Charlie Swan in the film adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's popular novel "Twilight." He also portrayed Bobby's brother in the TV show "My Boys."
