Vaart Brama: Dutch Footballing Midfielder

Vaart Brama is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for FC Twente in the Eredivisie. He has also represented the Netherlands national team on three occasions.

Early Career and Rise to Prominence

Brama began his footballing journey at the youth academy of SV Almelo. His impressive performances caught the attention of scouts from FC Twente, who invited him to join their youth academy at the age of 13. In 2005, he was promoted to the senior team.

FC Twente Career

Brama made his professional debut for Twente in an away match against Roda JC under the guidance of coach Rini Coolen. However, with the arrival of Fred Rutten in 2006, he lost his place in the starting lineup. Despite this, Twente offered him a new contract, which he extended until 2010.

Breaking Through and Championship Title

Brama became a regular fixture in the starting lineup during the 2007/08 season, making 30 appearances. He reached the pinnacle of his club career in the 2009/10 season, where Twente was crowned champions of the Netherlands. That season, he also scored his first goal in the Eredivisie.
