Early Life and Education
Anton Budennyi was born on December 24, 1972, in the village of Lyubar, Zhytomyr Oblast, Ukraine. He pursued higher education, graduating from Kharkiv Military University with a specialty in Mathematical Support of Automated Control Systems. Subsequently, he completed a training program for operations and tactical-level officers at the Bohdan Khmelnytsky National Academy of Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
Military Career
Budennyi's military career spanned 28 years, during which he held various positions, from junior commander to Deputy Commander of a military unit. He served as Head of Department in a regional management and Assistant to the Head of a regional management. From 2014 to 2016, he participated in the Anti-Terrorist Operation in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, earning recognition for his service with departmental and state awards.
Post-Military Career
In August 2018, Budennyi retired from military service with the rank of Colonel. He then entered the political arena as a candidate for member of parliament for the Servant of the People party in electoral district No. 172 (part of Moskovsky and Industrialny districts of Kharkiv). Elected as a non-partisan, he serves as a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense, and Intelligence. Budennyi is now a member of the Servant of the People party.
