Background and Early Career
Zdravko Kuzmanovic, a Serbian footballer, was born in Switzerland to Serbian immigrants. Football runs in his family, as both his grandfather and father were footballers.
Club Career
Basel and FiorentinaKuzmanovic began his professional career with Basel in Switzerland. After two years, he transferred to Fiorentina in Italy for €3 million in 2007. He made his Serie A debut in March 2007 and scored his first Fiorentina goal in February 2008.
Stuttgart
In 2009, Kuzmanovic joined Stuttgart in Germany. He played 96 Bundesliga games, 10 German Cup games, and 21 European competitions for the club.
Internazionale
In 2013, Kuzmanovic moved to Internazionale in Italy for €1.2 million.
International Career
In 2007, Serbia approached Kuzmanovic about representing their national team. Despite being born in Switzerland and playing for their youth team, Kuzmanovic chose Serbia, stating it was his heart's calling.
