Childhood and Early Life
Zinaida Alexandrovna Kupriyanovich was born on September 17, 2002, in the capital of Belarus, Minsk. Her father, Alexander Igorevich, is the director of the production center "Super Puper," and her mother, Nelly Nikolaevna, is a family psychologist.
Zina's father had a significant impact on her artistic development. He instilled a love for the arts in his daughter from a young age. Her future was shaped when her father first brought her to his production center, "Super Puper," where she heard her peers singing. From that moment on, Kupriyanovich became captivated by the world of music.
As a child, Kupriyanovich was fascinated by various art forms, including painting, sports, and dance. She attended numerous classes and aspired to be a ballerina, an artist, and an actress. In school, she studied drawing, played the piano, and enjoyed skateboarding and rollerblading. Despite her busy schedule, she excelled in her studies with the support of her teachers.
Musical Journey
Kupriyanovich's musical talent and distinctive voice were first recognized by her piano teacher. The teacher encouraged her mother to enroll Zina in vocal lessons, which she eagerly pursued. In 2008, at the age of six, Kupriyanovich became a member of the "Zaranak" ensemble at the National Center of Musical Arts named after Vladimir Georgievich Mulyavin.
In 2010, she left "Zaranak" and enrolled in the choir department of the Minsk Children's Music School No. 8 named after Grigory Romanovich Shirma. From 2011 to 2012, she participated in music competitions and consistently won prizes.
In 2013, Zina became a finalist in the "Children's New Wave" contest. After her successful performance, composer Igor Krutoy invited her to join the choir he conducted. As part of the ensemble, Kupriyanovich performed with renowned artists such as Ani Lorak, Lev Leshchenko, Iosif Kobzon, Lara Fabian, and Mitya Fomin. Later that year, she sang with the group "5sta Family" at the Olimpiyskiy sports complex.
In 2014, Kupriyanovich won first place in the children's competition "Slavic Bazaar" with the songs "Smile" and "Novy dzen." She also collaborated with the group "IOWA," performing the track "Prostaya pesnya." Her debut music video, "Navstrechu vetru," was released the same year.
Television and "New Star Factory"
In 2015, Kupriyanovich became a finalist in the national selection for the "Junior Eurovision Song Contest" with the song "Mir." In 2016, she released four original songs: "Kosmos," "Vse poluchitsya," "Mir" (remix), and "My - novoe pokolenie." At the "Children's New Wave" competition, Zina performed alongside Dominik Joker (single "Bit Bombbit") and Alexander Rosenbaum (as part of the "New Wave" choir).
In 2017, the TV channel "Muz-TV" revived the popular show "Star Factory" and announced a search for new contestants. Kupriyanovich successfully passed the auditions and became one of 16 talented artists selected to participate. She moved into a specially equipped cottage in the Moscow suburbs, where she was under 24/7 camera surveillance.
Throughout her time on the show, Kupriyanovich honed her stage skills under the guidance of celebrity mentors. She performed duets with Valeria, Dzhigan, and Nyusha, and her performance of "Zimny sad" with singer Alexei Glyzin was particularly well-received by viewers.
Personal Life
Despite her young age, media has speculated about Zina's romantic involvement with Arseny Akopyan, a prizewinner at the 2012 international contest "Hali-Halo." However, the two denied the rumors in a Q&A video blog, stating that they were only friends.
Recent Activities
Kupriyanovich continues to balance her participation in "Star Factory" with the release of new singles. In July-September 2017, she posted music videos for "Vse poluchitsya," "Golden Brick," and "Myata" on her YouTube channel. She is an active social media user, regularly sharing photos and updates from her performances.
