Zoltán Veres: A Hungarian Virtuoso of the Skies
Zoltán Veres, a Hungarian aviator, is a renowned master of aerobatics and one of the most prominent figures in contemporary European aviation.
Early Training and Qualifications
Born in Hungary, Veres's passion for aviation began at a young age. He pursued a collegiate degree in aircraft construction and obtained an impressive array of aviation licenses and certifications. Notably, he holds licenses for commercial airline pilot, seaplane pilot, and test pilot. Veres is also one of the select few pilots authorized to perform aerobatic maneuvers.
Accomplished Aviator
Throughout his illustrious career, Veres has accumulated over 15,000 flight hours in more than 100 aircraft types. His experience spans from vintage Russian radial-engine aerobatic biplanes to state-of-the-art Boeing jets. As a Boeing-737 captain, he also serves as an inspector for the Hungarian Civil Aviation Authority.

Beyond his piloting skills, Veres is highly regarded as an aviation legal expert. He is often invited to speak at international aviation conferences and has authored numerous articles on aviation-related subjects.
Aerobatic Mastery
Veres's aerobatic career took off in 1988 when he began flying a Czech Zlín Z-50 sports plane. Since then, his accolades include a team bronze medal at the FAI World Aerobatic Championships and a European championship title. He has also won four Aero GP titles and set five Guinness World Records, including a record for performing 408 consecutive aileron rolls in 2007.

Veres performs at approximately 45-50 air shows annually, attracting over 2.5 million spectators worldwide. His aerial artistry has earned him a reputation as a daredevil, both in and out of the cockpit.
Personal Interests and Accomplishments
When not soaring through the skies, Veres indulges in other adrenaline-pumping hobbies, including sports car racing and motorcycling. He also enjoys outdoor pursuits. In a recent air show in Budapest, Veres captivated the audience by flying an inverted aircraft under a bridge spanning the Danube River.
