Early Life and Club Career
Zoran Vulic is a Croatian footballer and coach born in Split, Yugoslavia. He began his professional career with Hajduk Split in 1979, where he played until 1988, helping the club win four Yugoslav First League titles.
International Career
Vulic represented both Yugoslavia and Croatia at the international level. For Yugoslavia, he made 25 appearances and scored one goal. After Croatia's independence, he played three times for the Croatian national team.
Coaching Career at Hajduk Split
After retiring as a player, Vulic returned to Hajduk Split as coach in 1998. Under his leadership, the team won the Croatian First League four times and reached the UEFA Champions League semi-finals in 1999.
Stint in Russia
In 2007, Vulic signed a contract with Russian Premier League club Luch-Energia Vladivostok, assisted by compatriot Mladen Prajia. Despite winning the 2007 Russian Cup, he resigned in 2008 after a heavy defeat to Zenit Saint Petersburg.
Return to Croatia
After leaving Luch-Energia, Vulic had a brief stint as manager of Rijeka in 2009 before returning to Hajduk Split as coach. He remained there until 2015, guiding the club to two more Croatian Cup titles.
