Childhood and Early Interests

As a child, the future striker of Inter Milan and the Brazilian national team, Adriano, did not have a particular interest in football. He was born in the impoverished suburb of Vila da Penha in Rio de Janeiro. He enjoyed spending time at his aunt's bar called "Zvyozdochka" (Little Star).

The Turning Point

However, one day, a card player and old friend of Adriano named Miguel Ambrosio suggested that he should watch a training session of the Brazilian club, Flamengo. This turned out to be a pivotal moment for Adriano, as he was deeply impressed by the legendary club's training and decided that his main goal from then on would be to become a legend in world football. Adriano had the skills, so the very next day, he and Miguel Ambrosio went to the Flamengo headquarters, where Adriano showcased his talent and immediately found a place in the youth team called "Mengo."

Finally, Adriano landed at Inter Milan, where he continues to play to this day.
