Fatos Dragusha: Footballer with a Checkered Career

Early Career and Club Stints

Fatos Dragusha, a Kosovo-Albanian defender, began his career in Kosovo, playing for KEK and KF Kosova. In 2005, he made a move to Ukrainian club FC Vorskla Poltava. Despite playing alongside fellow Kosovo international Ismet Munishi, Dragusha made only five appearances for the reserve team before leaving.

Azerbaijan and Albania

After his stint in Ukraine, Dragusha had stints with Azerbaijan's FK Baku and Albania's KS Besa. However, his time with Besa was marred by controversy. After a UEFA Cup qualifying round match against Serbian club FK Bežanija (2-2), he was suspended for two years for using performance-enhancing drugs. Specifically, he was found to have used the steroid nandrolone.

Return to Kosovo

Following his suspension, Dragusha returned to Kosovo to play for KF Trepça. In 2009, he rejoined Besa and has remained with the club since then.

International Career

Since 2005, Dragusha has represented Kosovo at the international level. However, it is important to note that Kosovo's national team is not recognized by FIFA or UEFA.
