Early Life and Education

Alexander Belovich was born on August 19, 1955, in Frunze (currently Bishkek), Kyrgyzstan. In 1974, he graduated from the Alma-Ata Construction College with a degree in Construction Technician. Ten years later, he earned a degree in Civil Engineering from the Alma-Ata Architectural and Construction Institute.

Construction Career

Belovich's construction career began in 1974 at the "KazPromNIIProekt" Institute. After serving in the Soviet Army, he joined the Alma-Ata House-Building Plant (ADK), where he held various positions, including foreman, project manager, and chief engineer.

Establishment of BAZIS

In 1991, amidst the collapse of the Soviet Union, Belovich and his colleagues formed the small enterprise "BAZIS." In 1993-1994, he served as its president.

Leadership in Public Administration and Return to BAZIS

Belovich served as Deputy Head of the Almaty City Administration from 1994 to 1995. He then returned to lead his company, which became known as Bazis-A in 1995.

Bazis-A operates in Kazakhstan, Canada, Uzbekistan, and Russia. In Kazakhstan, it has constructed notable projects, including the Ministry of Finance building, the Nulyr-Tau business center, Almaty Arena, and the Expo 2017 Exhibition Pavilion.
