Early Career and BATÈ Success

Alexander Lebedev, a Belarusian footballer, was born and raised in Soligorsk. He began his professional career in 2003 with Borisov-based BATÈ and quickly established himself as a key player. In his first season, he scored 16 goals for the reserve team and made his debut for the first team. Over the next few years, he helped BATÈ win the Belarusian Premier League, two runner-up finishes, and the Belarusian Cup.

Loan to Kuban and Return to Minsk

In 2007, Lebedev transferred to FC Kuban Krasnodar, a Russian Premier League club. However, he struggled to make an impact, making only a handful of appearances. He returned to Belarus on loan to FC Dinamo Minsk in 2008 and had a successful season, scoring 9 goals and helping the team finish as runners-up in the Belarusian Premier League.
