Biography of Alexander Bartenev
Alexander Bartenev is a prominent figure in the field of politics and entrepreneurship in Crimea, Ukraine. He was born on January 1, 1956, in Sestrenka, Zhedevsky District, Tambov Oblast, RSFSR. He is of Russian nationality.
Education and Early Career
Bartenev completed his education at the V.I. Lenin Leningrad Higher Naval Engineering School from 1973 to 1978. He specialized in Gas Turbine Power Equipment. Later, he attended the Ukrainian Academy of Public Administration under the President of Ukraine in 2001, studying State Management.
After completing his education, Bartenev served in the Black Sea Fleet of the USSR as a commander of an electromechanical combat unit from 1978 to 1981. He then worked as an engineer-mechanic for a group of military ships under construction in Feodosia from 1981 to 1993.
Political and Entrepreneurial Career
In 1994, Bartenev became the Deputy Director of Security at the Feodosia Oil Products Enterprise. From 1996 onwards, he served as the Director of the Feodosia Oil Products Enterprise. Simultaneously, he was actively involved in politics and became a member of the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea from 1998 to 2006. He was also the head of the parliamentary group "Stability" and a member of the "For Yanukovych!" Block and the Party of Regions.
In November 2008, Bartenev assumed the position of Mayor of Feodosia. Throughout his career, he has been recognized for his contributions and achievements. In 1999, he was awarded the Order "For Merit" of the III degree and received the honorary title of "Man of the Year." In 2000, he was honored with the Order "For the Development of Ukraine" named after M. Hrushevsky of the IV degree, and received the gold medal "For Effective Management" from the Presidium of the International Cadre Academy of UNESCO. He was also awarded the honorary title of "Merited Worker of the Industry of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea."
In 2002, Bartenev received the Order "For Merit" of the II degree and was granted the title of "Honorary Citizen of the city of Feodosia." In 2004, he was honored with the title of Hero of Ukraine, along with the State Order, for his outstanding personal achievements in the development of the fuel and energy complex, long-term selfless work, and public activities.
Alexander Bartenev is married and has a son. He continues to serve as a prominent political figure and entrepreneur, making significant contributions to the development and progress of Crimea, Ukraine.
