Biography of Alexei Boyarchuk

Alexei Boyarchuk is a Crimean and Russian politician who was born on April 10, 1972 in Yalta, Crimea. He started his career as a cadet at the Simferopol Higher Military-Political School in 1989. From 1992 to 1997, Boyarchuk studied at the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law Academy in Kharkiv, where he graduated with a degree in Prosecutorial and Investigative Law.

After completing his studies, Boyarchuk worked as an investigator for the Security Service of Ukraine in Sevastopol from 1997 to 1998. He then held various positions in different organizations, including the legal department of the Yalta-Intourist State-owned Enterprise, the department of the Corporation "Igro-Service", and the directorship of "Delfin-2001" Limited Liability Company.

Boyarchuk entered politics as the secretary of the Yalta City Council in 2006, a position he held until 2010. In 2010, he was elected as a member of the Verkhovna Rada, the parliament of Ukraine, representing the Party of Regions. During his time in the parliament, Boyarchuk served as a member of the Budget Committee.

In 2010, Boyarchuk was appointed as the chairman of the Yalta City Council, a position he held until 2012. He received the "Mayor of the Year" award in 2012.

Following the annexation of Crimea by Russia in 2014, Boyarchuk supported the decision and obtained Russian citizenship. He joined the party "Rodina" and served as an advisor to the Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea for a few months. Since 2015, Boyarchuk has been the deputy head of the administration of Alushta, a city in the Republic of Crimea.

Apart from his political career, Boyarchuk is also involved in sports. He is the president of the Yalta Football Federation and the president of the Yalta Sambo and Judo Federation.

Boyarchuk is married to Nadezhda Boyarchuk, who is a professor at the Crimean Humanitarian University. They have a son together.

Throughout his career, Boyarchuk has received several awards and honors, including the Cross "For Merit to the Ukrainian Navy," the Order "For Church Merit," the Badge of the State Border Service of Ukraine, and the Medal "For the Liberation of Crimea and Sevastopol" for his personal contribution to the return of Crimea to Russia on March 17, 2014.
