Andis Keppe: A Life on Stage and Screen
Early Life and EducationBorn on May 7, 1953, in Riga, Latvia, Andis Keppe was the son of two school teachers. He completed his secondary education at Riga Secondary School No. 45 in 1971 and went on to study at the Latvian State Conservatory named after J. Vitols, graduating in 1975 with a degree in theater.
Theatrical Career
Keppe began his acting career at the State Academic Drama Theater named after A. Upītis (National Theater) from 1975 to 1978. After a brief hiatus, he returned to the same theater from 1983 to 1996, where he became a prominent figure in Latvian theater.
