Andrea Barber is an American film and television actress. She was born on July 3, 1976, and grew up in Los Angeles, California. She graduated from La Serna High School in Whittier in 1994 and decided to continue her education at Whittier College. Andrea studied linguistics, with a specialization in the English language, and quickly became one of the top-performing students.
After completing several semesters at Whittier College, Andrea was chosen to participate in an international research program in Denmark. During this program, she studied various educational processes and became even more determined to dedicate her life to college education.
Andrea began her professional acting career in the 1980s, with her first major role in the American soap opera "Days of our Lives." She starred in the show from 1982 to 1986. In 1985, she also appeared in the television film "Do You Remember Love," where she played a leading role. In 1986, she was cast in the TV project "The Leftovers."
From 1987 to 1995, Andrea was heavily involved in the sitcom "Full House." This show brought her several accolades and made her one of the most recognizable actresses from the series. In 1992, she had a small and unnoticed role in the film "To Grandmother's House We Go." However, it had no significant impact on her career. In 1995, Andrea landed a role in the film "The Skateboard Kid II," but once again, she went unnoticed, and the movie didn't receive much recognition.
In September 2002, Andrea married Jeremy Rytky. Shortly after, the couple relocated to the United Kingdom, where they welcomed their first child, Ted. In April 2007, Andrea gave birth to their daughter, Felicia. Currently, Andrea Barber is less active in the film industry and mainly accepts small supporting roles in mundane and monotonous TV series. She prioritizes spending more time with her husband and children and turns down uninteresting offers.
