Early Life and EducationAndriy Kostin was born in 1973 in Odessa, Ukraine. In 1995, he graduated with honors from the I.I. Mechnikov Odessa State University with a degree in Law.
Legal Career
Kostin has held various positions in law firms and organizations, rising from a junior lawyer to a company leader. He is the director of the Law Firm "Pravo" and has served as Deputy Chairman of the Council of Advocates of the Odessa Region and Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the Association of Advocates "Odessa Regional College of Advocates."
Kostin is also a board member of the NGO "Odessa Diplomatic Club."
Political CareerIn 2010, Kostin was included on the electoral list of "Front of Change" for the Odessa City Council elections but was not elected.
In 2019, he was a candidate for People's Deputy from the "Servant of the People" party in the parliamentary elections, holding position 108 on the party list. He became Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Legal Policy and Chairman of the Subcommittee on the Implementation of European Court of Human Rights Decisions and Alternative Dispute Resolution.
Kostin has also been a member of the Ukrainian part of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the Sejm of the Republic of Lithuania and a representative in the political issues working subgroup of the Trilateral Contact Group.

Kostin has been criticized for alleged violations in his income declaration, the use of a government vehicle, and the hiring of family members and friends in his office.
