Childhood and Amateur Career
Roman Pylypchuk was born in Kupyansk, Ukraine. He began his football career as a youth player in his hometown. In 1995, he played for the amateur team Metallurg Kupyansk.
Professional Career
FC Metalist KharkivIn 1996, Pylypchuk joined FC Metalist Kharkiv, a professional club in the Ukrainian Premier League.
FC Arsenal Kharkiv
From 2000 to 2003, Pylypchuk played for FC Arsenal Kharkiv, a Ukrainian First League club.
FC Naftovyk-Ukrnafta Okhtyrka
In 2003, Pylypchuk moved to FC Naftovyk-Ukrnafta Okhtyrka, another Ukrainian First League club. He made his debut for the team on March 19, 2003, against CSKA-2 Kyiv.
FC Kharkiv
At the start of the 2006/07 season, Pylypchuk joined FC Kharkiv, a Ukrainian Premier League club.
Return to Naftovyk-Ukrnafta
After a brief spell at Kharkiv, Pylypchuk returned to Naftovyk-Ukrnafta. He remained with the club until his untimely death in 2007.
