Early Life and Education

Andrey Ivanovich Mironyak was born on January 24, 1972, in Mykulychyn village, Yaremche City Council. From 1987 to 1991, he studied at the Storozhynets Forest Technical School.

Military and Law Enforcement Career

After completing his studies, Mironyak served in the internal troops from 1991 to 1993. Upon demobilization, he joined the internal affairs bodies, holding various positions in the Yaremche City Police Department, including inspector of the Correctional Works Inspection and instructor for combat and service training.

Advancement in Law Enforcement

In 1998, Mironyak joined the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, where he served as a senior lecturer at the Center for Combat Training and later as head of the Training Center. He earned a degree in Physical Education from Vasyl Stefanyk National University of Precarpathia in 2004.

Community Involvement

From 2011 to 2020, Mironyak was the Deputy Chairman of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Organization of the "Dynamo" Sports Society of Ukraine. He also engaged in entrepreneurial activities as the director of "Zari Karpat" LLC. From 2015 to 2020, he served as a deputy in the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Council, participating in committees on education, sports, and youth policy, as well as on budget, finance, and taxation.

Election as Mayor

On October 25, 2020, Mironyak was elected the Mayor of Yaremche.
Accomplishments and Recognition

Mironyak is an accomplished athlete, holding the titles of Ukrainian Champion in hand-to-hand combat and combat sambo, as well as Master of Sports of Ukraine. He was instrumental in establishing the Federation of Hand-to-Hand Combat in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast.

Mironyak has received numerous awards, including the Order of Merit, 3rd Class, the Diploma of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the МВД of Ukraine breastplate "For Excellence in Service" of two degrees, and the highest award of the "Dynamo" Sports Society of Ukraine, "Honorary Dynamo".

Personal Life

Mironyak is married and has a daughter and a son.
