Education and Early Career

In 1989, the renowned Russian economist graduated from the Faculty of Economics at Moscow State University (MSU), specializing in Political Economy Education. He continued his academic journey by enrolling in the MSU postgraduate program the same year, completing it in 1991 and successfully defending his dissertation for a Candidate of Economic Sciences degree in 1992.

International Research and Doctoral Degree

Throughout 1993-2003, he actively participated in several international research programs in various economic disciplines. His academic pursuits culminated in 1999 when he earned his Doctor of Economic Sciences degree from MSU.

University Professorship and Research

Since 1992, he has been a prominent member of the Faculty of Economics at Moscow State University, becoming a full professor in 2007. From 2000-2002, he served as Head of the Competition and Antitrust Policy Sector at the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) Foundation.

BEA Leadership and Research Interests

In 2005, he became the General Director of the BEA Foundation. His research interests encompass New Institutional Economics, Competition and Antitrust Policy, and the Behavior of Individuals in Economic Theory.

Teaching and Professional Affiliations

He is a respected professor, teaching courses in Institutional Economics, Economic Theory of Organizations, and Models of Individuals in Economic Theory. Additionally, he is an active member of the "SIGMA" Group and the Chairman of the Board of the Association of Researchers in the Public Sector Economy (ASPE) since November 2007.
