Professor of Biological Sciences
Early Life and EducationThe esteemed professor, who holds a Doctorate in Biological Sciences, completed his secondary education at Shchuchin Secondary School No. 1 in 1959. After graduating high school, he served in the Armed Forces of the USSR. Subsequently, he pursued a degree in Biological Chemistry at the Belarusian State University, specializing in laboratory clinical diagnostics.
Research and Academic Career
Following the completion of his university studies, the professor commenced his career at the Belarusian Research Institute for the Examination of Working Capacity and Organization of Labor for Disabled People, where he progressed through the ranks of junior and senior researcher and eventually became head of the Clinical Biochemistry Department. In 1981, he assumed the position of Head of the Laboratory of Biochemistry and Biophysics at the Belarusian Research Institute of Cardiology.
Political and Policy Roles
In 1997, the professor was appointed Head of the Center for Social Problems and the Center for Political Studies at the Institute of Strategic and Political Studies under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus. After the institute's closure, he was appointed Chief Advisor to the Information and Analytical Center under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus.
Academic Leadership and Authorship
From 2009 onward, the professor served as the Chief Scientific Officer of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Belarus. Throughout his illustrious career, he has authored an impressive body of work, including over 400 published scientific articles, scientific-methodological materials, inventions, and patents. Notably, he has penned 26 books on contemporary issues in domestic and foreign policy.
