Education and Engineering Career
In 1972, the individual began their academic journey at the Yerevan Polytechnic Institute, majoring in electrical engineering. They graduated in 1977 with a degree in engineering.
Professional Experience
Upon completing their studies, the individual embarked on a career in engineering. From 1977 to 1990, they held various positions within ЕрНИИММ, rising from engineer to senior engineer. Subsequently, they spent four years as a first-category engineer at ЗАО "Армгазпром" from 1990 to 1994.
Government and Business Leadership
In 1994, the individual transitioned into government, serving as Deputy Head of the State Administration under the Armenian government until 1996. They then became the Director of the trading house "Гера" from 1996 to 1998.
Continuing their involvement in business, the individual was appointed Director of ЗАО "Avansky Solkombinat" from 1998 to 2003, overseeing operations at the salt-producing plant.
Parliamentary Service
The individual's political career began in 2003, when they were elected as a Member of Parliament. They served on the Standing Committee on Financial and Credit, Budgetary, and Economic Issues. They later joined the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA).
Following the 2007 parliamentary elections held on May 12, the individual was re-elected as an RPA member.
