Biography of Artem Dzyuba
Artem Dzyuba is a Russian football player who currently plays as a forward for Moscow's "Spartak" team. He began his career as a player in the reserve squad of "Spartak" in 2005. Dzyuba made his debut for the main team in 2006, playing in a Russian Cup match against "Ural" from Yekaterinburg, and made his debut in the Russian Premier League in the 12th round, playing 20 minutes in a match against "Saturn" from Ramenskoye. He first appeared in the starting lineup of "Spartak" in a return cup match against "Ural". In the 2006 season, he played 8 matches for the main team, but did not score any goals. In 2007, Dzyuba became a regular starter, playing 27 matches in all competitions and scoring 5 goals, and he also won a silver medal in the championship. However, in the 2008 season, he once again became a substitute player. Despite this, with 6 goals in all competitions, he was one of the team's top scorers for the season. In the final group stage match of the UEFA Cup, he scored 2 goals against London's "Tottenham", but the English team managed to equalize the score, and "Spartak" was unable to continue the fight for the trophy. Artem also participated in the 2007 UEFA European Under-21 Championship and scored 2 goals in the debut match against the German national team, but it did not save the Russians from defeat in that match; the team had an unsuccessful performance in the tournament, failing to advance from the group stage.
