Carson Jones Daly was born on June 22, 1973 in Santa Monica, California. Unfortunately, when he was six years old, his father, J.D. Daly, passed away from bladder cancer. His mother, Patty, soon remarried Richard Caruso, the owner of a golf accessories store.

Carson Daly attended school in Santa Monica and was a member of the school's golf team. After graduating from high school, he enrolled at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. Carson is of Irish descent and worked with 'Guinness' on a local initiative called 'Proposal 3-17' to make St. Patrick's Day an official holiday.

Carson Daly is an American television host, currently known for hosting the late-night talk show 'Last Call with Carson Daly'. Prior to this project, Daly was a promising VJ on MTV, hosting the show 'Total Request Live' and working as a DJ on the Southern California radio station 'KROQ'. He has also hosted several notable specials, including 'Macy's 4th of July Spectacular' and 'NBC's New Years Eve with Carson Daly'. Additionally, he is one of the founders and leaders of the independent record label '456 Entertainment'.

Personal Life and Philanthropy

Carson Daly's mother, Patty Daly Caruso, successfully battled breast cancer and was honored at the 2004 Lifetime Network's Breakfast for Breast Cancer Heroes. Together with her son, she became an activist in the breast cancer awareness movement. Carson himself has been spotted wearing the 'Livestrong' bracelet, one of the charitable organizations' bracelets sold to support cancer research. Daly actively supports those affected by this dangerous disease, as it took his father's life and nearly claimed his mother's.

Carson Daly is also the face of several charitable organizations. Since January 7, 2002, he has hosted the thirty-minute late-night talk show 'Last Call with Carson Daly' on NBC. The show features celebrity interviews, comedic sketches, and musical performances. The project was nominated for the Teen Choice Awards in 2003 and 2004.

In 2009, Daly and his girlfriend Siri Pinter welcomed their son. The television host admitted that the prospect of becoming a father was somewhat daunting, but he is confident that he can handle it. As an avid cyclist, he is already looking for a small bicycle helmet for his child.
