Charlotte Amos: A Dance With Anorexia

Descent into Darkness

At the tender age of 11, Charlotte Amos began her battle with anorexia. Driven by relentless bullying that labeled her a "pig" whenever she ate, she embarked on a relentless pursuit of thinness. Compliments showered upon her as she shed pounds, further fueling her desire to become emaciated.

As the disorder took hold, Charlotte's physical and mental health deteriorated. She could barely muster the strength to get out of bed, subsisting on a mere 50 calories a day. Desperate for control, she even resorted to self-harm.
