Childhood and Education
Cholpon Talipbekova Talipbekovna was born on September 22, 1990, in Kant, Kyrgyzstan. Her mother, Indira Duishenova, was a bank employee, and her father, Talipbek Sydykov, was an engineer. Cholpon has three sisters: Aisuluu, Madina, and Medina. Madina Talipbek is a renowned theater and film actress.
In 2006, Cholpon enrolled in the Bishkek Financial and Economic College and graduated with honors in 2009. She continued her education at the Kyrgyz State Institute of Culture and Arts named after B. Beishenalieva, majoring in Television and Radio Directing until 2014.
Music Career
Cholpon's musical journey began in 2009 when she joined the band NON STOP. The band gained immense popularity and received numerous awards and accolades. In 2014, NON STOP represented Kyrgyzstan at the Turkvision Song Contest, where they placed fourth.
Cholpon also appeared in the film "Byyl syzsuz közgü tiem" while a member of NON STOP. In 2017, she embarked on a solo career under the stage name "Cholpon Talipbek" and released her first solo music video, "Ishu seni."
Solo Success
Each subsequent song released by Cholpon gained millions of views on YouTube. In November 2018, she collaborated with Amir Askarov on the song "Zhurogum ezilet," which became a massive hit. She also released her own song, "Tappadim sendei," which was featured on various music charts across the country.
