Early Life and Career
Colin Griffiths, a multifaceted entertainer, began his career as a radio presenter for Livewire, a student-run station at the University of East Anglia. During his time there, he progressed from morning host to evening show host and eventually became the station's Assistant Manager. It was during this period that he first met Rhys Peterson, who would later become a collaborator on several projects.
MTV's "Up, Up, Down, Down..."
Griffiths gained significant recognition for his work on MTV's "Up, Up, Down, Down..." show. As part of the innovative MTV Flux initiative, viewers had the opportunity to customize the channel's programming by submitting and voting for music videos. Griffiths played a pivotal role as a host and commentator, providing coverage of the launch of video game consoles such as the Sony PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Wii.
Other MTV Projects and Guest Appearances
Beyond "Up, Up, Down, Down...", Griffiths also contributed to MTV's Overdrive programming and hosted various chart shows. Additionally, he voiced characters in the animated short series "noobs," which originated from discussions on the MTV Flux forum. In 2007, he served as a correspondent for MTV's "Wireless Festival," interviewing artists such as Perry Farrell, The White Stripes, LCD Soundsystem, and Klaxons.

Alongside his MTV commitments, Griffiths has hosted a weekly radio show on Brighton's Radio Reverb with Rhys Peterson since 2001. He also maintains an active stand-up comedy career, performing throughout the United Kingdom. His comedic style primarily revolves around the art of stand-up.
