Cristian Pavón: Argentinian Football Prodigy
Early Career and Club DebutBorn in Córdoba, Argentina, Cristian Pavón honed his skills at his hometown club, Talleres. He made his professional debut for Talleres in 2013 in the Primera B division. In 2014, he scored his first goal for the club against Crucero del Norte.
Transfer to Boca Juniors and Loan to Colón
In 2014, Pavón transferred to the prestigious Boca Juniors for €1.3 million. To gain first-team experience, he was immediately loaned out to Colón. He made his Argentine Primera debut for Colón in 2014 and scored his first goal for the club against Guaraní A.Franko.
Return to Boca Juniors and Breakthrough
Pavón rejoined Boca Juniors in 2015. He made his debut for the club in a match against Huracán and scored his first goal against Lanús. He also scored in the iconic Superclásico rivalry match against River Plate in May 2015.
International Career
Pavón has represented Argentina at various youth levels. He played in the 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup and the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup. In 2016, he was called up to the Olympic team for the Rio de Janeiro Olympics.
Pavón's senior international debut came in a friendly match against Russia in 2017.
