Early Career

As an attacking-minded left-back, DaMarcus Beasley started his soccer journey at the IMG Soccer Academy. In 1999, he joined the Los Angeles Galaxy in the Major League Soccer (MLS) but soon moved to the Chicago Fire without making an appearance for the Galaxy.

MLS and European Stints

Beasley spent the next four years with the Fire before venturing to Europe in 2004, joining Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven. After three seasons in the Netherlands, he spent a season on loan at Manchester City in the English Premier League.

Scottish Adventure

In 2007, Beasley joined Scottish club Rangers, where he remained for several years. However, during the 2009/10 season, his playing time diminished, and his contract was not renewed.

National Team Career

Beasley made his debut for the United States national team in 2001 and has since earned over 90 caps. With 17 international goals, he is a key member of the US team and has been included in the squad for the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

Current Status

As of present, Beasley is a free agent, having last played for Rangers in 2010.
