Biography of Daniel Fernandes
Daniel Fernandes is a Spanish professional footballer and defender for the Dutch club Feyenoord. He was born in a small village near Barcelona. At the age of 11, he joined Barcelona's youth academy. He played for various teams, including the first team, and frequently trained with the main squad. Daniel won several prizes with his team in youth tournaments.

His official debut came on November 15, 2005, in a match against Gimnàstic (Tarragona) in the semifinals of the Catalan Cup. In late June 2006, he signed a three-year contract with the Ukrainian club Metalurh Donetsk. He received an invitation from the club's first vice-president, Dmitry Selyuk, to join the team. Daniel made his debut in the Ukrainian Premier League on August 19, 2006, in a match against Shakhtar Donetsk, which ended in a draw (0-0).
In the summer of 2008, his rights were bought by Arsenal Kyiv. However, he did not play a single match for the club and was loaned to a Dutch club, NEC. In April 2009, it was announced that Fernandes could transfer to Feyenoord, and in June, he signed a three-year contract with the club. He currently wears the number 21, the same number as his idol, Luis Enrique.
Daniel has never played for the Spanish national team. However, in October 2006, he participated in a match between the Catalonia national team and the Basque national team. His parents come from an ordinary family. He has a girlfriend named Sandra, with whom he spends all his free time.
