Early Life and CareerDanielle Bux, a British model, is best known as the wife of famous British footballer and television presenter Gary Lineker. She was born on June 15, 1979, in Cardiff. When Danielle was very young, her parents divorced, and she stayed with her mother who soon remarried to Sid Mohammed. Danielle began her modeling career at the age of 18 after winning the "Miss Hawaiian Tropic" beauty pageant in Las Vegas. However, she had to wait to pursue her modeling career. She worked as a cabin crew member for "Virgin Atlantic" and only after a few years, she signed her first major contract with a lingerie manufacturer. Danielle admits that working as a flight attendant was very interesting for her as there was always something exciting happening on board almost every flight. She recalls, "Of course, there were people who were always dissatisfied with something. But there were also curious situations that could have led to a tragedy. Once, someone declared themselves Jesus and wanted to help the pilots. Fortunately, he was stopped at that time." Certainly, flight attendants and crew members also had their share of fun on transatlantic flights. "At night, when all the passengers were asleep, we played our own games," Danielle says. "For example, we took bread and put it on passengers' heads or knees, and then someone had to find that bread. They would move it and the next person would have to find it. We also played pranks on the newbies. We took dry ice and poured water over it in the toilet. It created steam-like smoke, and we sent the newbie to deal with the imaginary fire."
Rise to Fame
After starting her serious modeling career, Danielle met the former England national football team player, Gary Lineker. This is when true fame came to her. She started receiving invitations to participate in advertising campaigns for well-known brands, including "La Senza," and to pose for men's magazines. In 2009, Danielle Bux appeared on the reality show "Hell's Kitchen" on the ITV channel. However, it later turned out that after two months in the kitchen with chef Marco Pierre White, he couldn't even remember her name. But most importantly, Danielle gained another portion of fame among the many ordinary people who watched the show.
Personal Life
Before meeting Gary Lineker, Danielle Bux was married to Coventry City footballer Adam Willis, with whom she has a daughter named Ella, as well as Scottish rugby player Simon Danielli. In 2008, Gary and Danielle announced their engagement.
