Early Life and Inspiration

Born on August 9, 1999, in Minsk, Belarus, Daria Karpechenkova excelled academically, despite her preference for dance over literature. With an innate understanding of grammar and a passion for the art form, she initially considered pursuing a career as a Russian language and literature teacher.

However, her love for dance grew stronger, leading her to explore various styles from folk to ballroom. Eastern dance eventually became her true calling, and she mastered hip-hop and contemporary dance, earning international recognition as a judge.

Education and Acting Debut

Despite her dedication to dance, Karpechenkova pursued acting after graduating high school. Her exceptional choreographic skills impressed the admissions committee during her entrance exams at the Belarusian State Academy of Arts. However, she almost failed in the final round, doubting her abilities in a non-objective exercise.

Undeterred, Karpechenkova showcased her talent and entered Professor Vladimir Mishchanchuk's studio with a score of 18 out of 20. She joined the Theater-Studio of Film Actor in Minsk upon completing her degree.

Theater and Film Career

As a member of the Theater-Studio of Film Actor, Karpechenkova quickly became involved in the repertoire. Initially, she played minor roles such as the Eastern girl in "Pygmalion" and a flower in "Alice Through the Looking Glass." However, she also portrayed Sonya in "Uncle Vanya" and Molly Ralston in "The Mousetrap."

Concurrently, Karpechenkova pursued a cinematic career. Her notable early works include the role of Ira Kostrova in the detective series "Mukhtar. New Trace," where she began acting as a student.

Breakthrough with "Flames Under Ash"

Her big break came with the casting for the drama "Flames Under Ash." Despite initial hesitations due to her timid demeanor, Karpechenkova's portrayal of Lenochka Dalidovich won her the role. She collaborated closely with the director, making suggestions for lines and scenes, and dedicated herself to embodying her character fully.

The intense filming process involved military scenes, including explosions and the death of a friend, which evoked genuine fear and emotion in Karpechenkova. She delved into the role by visiting a mine clearance center and working with real demining experts.

Despite initial challenges with voiceover work, Karpechenkova ultimately delivered an exceptional performance that resulted in an 8-episode series. The premiere of "Flames Under Ash" moved her family to tears.

Personal Life and Entrepreneurial Pursuits

Karpechenkova actively shares her life and experiences on her Instagram page. Despite her thriving acting career, she remains dedicated to dance, having founded her own choreography studio, DK media dance school, in Minsk. Current Projects and Future Endeavors

Directed by Ivan Pavlov and produced by Belarusfilm, "Sabotage" reunited Karpechenkova with her co-stars from the series, including Tatiana Fedorova, Anzhelika Barcan, and Andrei Senkin.
