David Chokachi: An American Television Actor
Early Life and EducationDavid Al-Chokachi was born on January 1, 1968, in Plymouth, Massachusetts, to a Turkish-Iraqi father and a Finnish mother. During his teenage years, he attended Tabor Academy, an elite boarding school in Marion, Massachusetts. After graduating, he enrolled at Bates College, a private liberal arts college in Lewiston, Maine, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science.

Acting Career
Despite his academic accomplishments, Chokachi's true passion lay in acting. His entertainment journey began in 1995 when he joined the cast of "Baywatch" as Cody Madison, replacing David Charvet in the lead role. In 1999, he left "Baywatch" to portray Jake McCarthy in "Witchblade," a series that ran until 2002.

Following "Witchblade," Chokachi appeared in numerous television movies and series, including the lead role in "Beyond the Break" on The N in 2006. He also participated in VH1's reality show "Confessions of a Teen Idol," where former teen heartthrobs discussed their career trajectories.
