Early Life and Education

Debbie spent some time living with her parents in Canada before they were forced to move to the United States. They settled in Madison, Wisconsin, where Debbie enrolled in middle school. It was during her time in middle school that she first began her sports career.

Early Success in Curling

Debbie showed exceptional talent in curling at a young age and quickly became one of the strongest young players in the state of Wisconsin. She had brilliant performances in various World Junior Curling Championships, winning two silver medals and one bronze medal.
