Dejan Radić: A Serbian Footballing Journey

Dejan Radić, a Serbian goalkeeper who hails from the city of Inđija near Belgrade, began his footballing career with the youth team of FK Rad. He was promoted to the senior team in 2000.

Loan Spells and International Debut

In the 2003/04 season, Radić was sent on a six-month loan to FK Radnički. Upon his return, he made his debut for the Serbia and Montenegro national football team in a friendly match against Finland in January 2004.

Stint at Alania and Return to Serbia

After making 26 appearances for FK Alania, Radić returned to Serbia in the summer of 2005, where he spent a year and a half playing for FK Vojvodina.

Move to Spartak Nalchik and Injury Setback

In January 2007, Radić moved to Spartak Nalchik, where he made 43 appearances over three seasons. However, his career was tragically cut short in the 2011/12 season when he suffered a severe kidney injury in a collision with FC Terek striker Zaur Sadayev.

Post-Injury Involvement with Rostov

Following surgery, Radić began to train again in May 2012. Despite his recovery, he did not return to professional football and remained off the Rostov squad list for the 2012/13 season. However, he continued to be involved with the club, working in scouting and fan engagement.

Football Agent and Personal Life

As of 2018, Radić works as a football agent. He is married and has four children: three sons (Aleksandar, Uroš, Dragan) and a daughter (Marija).
