Dennis Hollenstein is a Swiss ice hockey player who plays as a forward. He is a member of the Swiss national team and has been a key contributor to their success in recent years.
Early Years and Development
Hollenstein was born in Switzerland and began his hockey career with the Kloten Flyers' youth team. He later joined the Guelph Storm of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), where he spent two seasons, scoring 39 goals in 104 games.
Return to Kloten and Professional Debut
In the 2009-10 season, Hollenstein returned to the Kloten Flyers and made his professional debut. He quickly established himself as a valuable player for the team and helped them win the Spengler Cup in 2013.
International Career
Hollenstein represented Switzerland at the 2007 World Junior Championships and the 2008 World Junior Championships. He made his senior international debut at the 2012 World Championships and was part of the team that won the silver medal at the 2013 World Championships.
Geneva-Servette and Continued Success
In 2013, Hollenstein joined the Geneva-Servette Hockey Club and has been a key player for them ever since. He has continued to perform well at the international level and remains an important member of the Swiss national team.
