Diandra Douglas: The First Wife of Michael Douglas
Diandra Douglas was the first wife of Hollywood actor Michael Douglas. Before Michael married actress Catherine Zeta-Jones, who is 25 years younger than him, he was married to Diandra Douglas. Their marriage lasted for 23 years, from 1977 to 2000. During their marriage, they had a son named Cameron Douglas, who was born on December 13, 1978.

Cameron Douglas: Acting Career and Legal Troubles
Cameron Douglas followed in his parents' footsteps and pursued a career in acting. He appeared in several films, including the drama "It Runs in the Family" in 2003, the comedy "Adam and Eve" in 2005, and the action film "Loaded" in 2008.
However, Diandra and Michael found themselves reunited in a New York courtroom, but this time it was for their 31-year-old son Cameron. Federal Judge Richard Berman sentenced Cameron to five years in prison for drug trafficking. Both parents were present at the verdict, witnessing their son's descent into prison.
Michael, along with other family members and friends, wrote letters to the court on Cameron's behalf, asking the judges to be lenient in their decision. The American laws initially prescribed a sentence of 10 years, but Cameron, who pleaded guilty in January 2010, agreed to cooperate with the investigation, resulting in his sentence being halved.
Even Cameron's stepmother, Catherine Zeta-Jones, wrote a letter to the court, describing him as caring, attentive, and deserving, but acknowledging that his ongoing struggle with addiction had once again taken its toll.
Diandra Douglas: Producer and Television Appearances
Diandra Douglas ventured into the film industry as an executive producer for the historical documentary film "Off the Menu: The Last Days of Chasen's" in 1997. She later took on the same role in the British drama "Broken Lines" in 2008, starring Paul Bettany. She can also be seen in the documentary television film "...A Father... A Son... Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" in 2005.
