Biography of Dmitry Dikusar
Dmitry Dikusar is a Ukrainian ballroom dancer and choreographer. He has been involved in the world of dance since 2002, working as an instructor and trainer in ballroom dancing. From a young age, Dmitry participated in sports, starting with artistic gymnastics and later transitioning to ballroom and sport dancing.
Throughout his career, Dmitry has competed in various sports competitions both domestically and internationally. He has been dancing with Ilona Azemsha since 1999 and with Ksenia Gorb since 2002. Dmitry has achieved notable success, becoming a medalist in the Ukrainian Championship, a finalist in international competitions, and a finalist in the European Cup for Latin American dances. He has also won prizes in the World Cup for Latin American dances.
In addition to his competitive dance career, Dmitry has gained popularity through his participation in television projects such as "Dancing with the Stars" (the Ukrainian version) and "I Dance for You" where he danced with singers Irina Bilyk and Nastya Kamenskih, as well as actress Olga Sumskaya. These projects further established Dmitry's reputation and brought him recognition.
In 2011, Dmitry expanded his horizons as a choreographer and participated in the program "Dancing with the Stars" on the Russian television channel "Russia". He has been working as an instructor and personal trainer in ballroom dancing since 2002. In 2006, he earned the title of Candidate for Master of Sports in ballroom dancing. Dmitry completed his education at the Kiev Institute of Physical Culture in 2008, specializing in ballroom dance training.
