Dmitry Dubilet: A Visionary Leader in Ukraine
Early Life and EducationBorn in 1985 in Dnipropetrovsk, Dmitry Dubilet is the son of prominent Ukrainian financier and banker, Alexander Dubilet. His educational journey commenced at School No. 23 in Dnipropetrovsk, where he studied from 1996 to 2002. Subsequently, he attended Roycemore School in Illinois, USA in 2000, before pursuing studies at the Hochsule Merseburg in Merseburg, Germany in 2004. Dubilet obtained both an undergraduate degree in "International Information" from the Institute of International Relations at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in 2006, as well as an MBA from the London Business School in 2012.
Business Career
Dubilet's professional career began in 2005, where he co-founded and directed Fine Web. He went on to hold various leadership roles, including Director at Infosys in 2010, Project Manager at MasterCard in Poland in 2010, and IT Director of PrivatBank from 2012 to 2016.
Innovative Projects
Dubilet's passion for technology and innovation led him to contribute to notable projects:
iGov
From 2015, Dubilet focused on developing the iGov portal, which aimed to combat corruption and enhance government efficiency.
Monobank
In 2017, collaborating with Oleg Gorokhovsky and Mikhail Rogalsky, Dubilet co-founded Monobank, the first mobile-only bank in Ukraine.
Political Appointment
On August 29, 2019, with the formation of the IX convocation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Dubilet was appointed Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Goncharuk government. He served as an advisor to the Acting Chairman of the Security Service of Ukraine, Ivan Bakanov, prior to this role.
