Biography of Dmitry Gorbushin
Dmitry Gorbushin is a Ukrainian and Russian football player who started his career in 1993 in his hometown of Rubizhne. He began his professional career at the age of 17 in 2003, playing for Alchevsk's "Stal". In 2005, he helped the team enter the Premier League of the Ukrainian championship, where he played until 2007.
In 2007, Gorbushin transferred to Kiev's "Dynamo", but struggled to establish himself in the team and was subsequently loaned out to Luhansk's "Zarya". In 2008, he joined "Kuban". In the summer of 2008, he obtained Russian citizenship, which allowed him to play in the Russian league without being considered a foreign player. During his time at "Kuban", he played 22 matches, including 2 in the Premier League, and scored 5 goals.
On August 4, 2009, Gorbushin moved on loan to Novorossiysk's "Chernomorets", where he played 14 matches and scored 4 goals. After the loan period ended, he returned to "Kuban" and participated in the first international training camp on January 18, 2010. He played the entire season, appearing in 23 matches and helping the team win the First Division of Russia.
On November 24, it was announced that "Kuban" decided to part ways with Dmitry. On January 10, 2011, it was reported that Gorbushin did not join "Kuban" for their first international training camp in Turkey, as the club was considering his employment in another team.
Gorbushin received an offer to join Novorossiysk's "Chernomorets", where he had previously played in 2009. After several training sessions, he accepted the offer and signed a contract. He has also represented the youth and junior national teams of Ukraine.
