Early Life and Education
Dmitry Aleksandrovich Marshania was born on January 24, 1989, in Sukhum, Abkhaz ASSR. He attended Gorska Secondary School No. 10 named after N.A. Lakoba and graduated in 2006. Subsequently, he enrolled in the Russian State University of Trade and Economics in Moscow, where he majored in World Economy and graduated in 2011.
Professional Career in Government
In 2012, Marshania began his government career as a senior specialist in the Department of Economics and Forecasting of the Sukhum City Administration. Simultaneously, he pursued a degree in History at the Abkhaz State University through the correspondence program.
In 2014, he became an assistant to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Abkhazia, a position he held until 2015. Subsequently, he served as an assistant to a member of the People's Assembly, the Parliament of Abkhazia.
Business and Local Politics
From 2015 to the present day, Marshania has been the Deputy General Director of Machara-Service LLC. In 2016, he was elected as a deputy of the Sukhum City Council from District No. 5.
