Early Life and EducationDouglas A. Ducey, a prominent Republican politician, was born and raised in Ohio. In 1982, he relocated to Arizona to pursue his education at Arizona State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance in 1986.
Business Career
After graduating from ASU, Ducey commenced his business career at Procter & Gamble. In 1995, he became a partner in Cold Stone Creamery and served as its Chief Executive Officer from 2000 to 2007, when he and his business associates sold the company. Subsequently, Ducey worked for iMemories from 2008 to 2012.
Political Career
Ducey's political journey began in January 2011, when he was appointed State Treasurer of Arizona. In this role, he oversaw the state's financial operations and managed its investment portfolio.
