Early Career

Yllan Diop began his football journey at the tender age of seven, honing his skills at the academies of Tours and Chambray. In July 2019, his talent caught the attention of AS Monaco, and he joined their esteemed youth academy.

Professional Debut and Breakthrough

Diop's exceptional performances for Monaco's youth teams earned him a professional contract on August 5, 2022. He made his long-awaited debut in February 2023, featuring in the UEFA Europa League play-off match against Bayer Leverkusen. Days later, he marked his Ligue 1 debut against Nice, coincidentally facing his older brother Sofiane, who was playing for the opposition team. Diop's stellar form continued as he netted his maiden goal for Monaco against Strasbourg on April 2, 2023.

International Recognition
