Biography of Ekaterina Serebrianskaya
Ekaterina Serebrianskaya is a former Olympic champion in artistic gymnastics. She was born into a family of athletes, with her father Oleg Serebrianskii being a master of sports in football and her mother Lyubov Serebrianskaia being a master of sports in gymnastics. From the age of 4, her parents brought her to train in a sports hall, where her mother was her coach at the "Grazia" club in Simferopol. At the age of 8, she began to professionally engage in artistic gymnastics.

While attending school, Serebrianskaya became a master of sports, European champion, and medalist at the European Gymnastics Junior Championships. After that, she moved to Kiev and continued training under her mother's guidance. Serebrianskaya became the European champion in team competition, the absolute world and European champion, Olympic champion, and winner of the Continent Cup. She also holds eight titles of world champion and six titles of European champion in individual events.
She retired from competitive gymnastics in 1998. Serebrianskaya holds a candidate of science degree and is an expert in a healthy lifestyle.
