Biography of Eldar Ibragimov

Eldar Ibragimov is a Ukrainian football player and midfielder for the club "Gurzuf". He began playing football at a young age, starting at the Sports School for Youth in his hometown of Samarkand at the age of 8. Alongside his football career, Eldar excelled in academics and graduated from school with a gold medal. He then enrolled in a medical institute and became a dentist, temporarily stopping his football pursuits.

At the age of 18, Eldar and his family moved to Crimea. Upon completing his studies, he found himself in Nikolaev, where he resumed playing football. In 1997, he joined the club "Nikolaev" under the coaching of Anatoliy Zayaev. Afterward, Ibragimov played for clubs such as "Metalurg" (Nikopol), "Prikarpatye" (Ivano-Frankivsk), "Energetik" (Burshyn), and "Bukovyna".

In the summer of 2000, he transferred to "Polesie" in Zhytomyr, where he spent about three years, playing 96 matches and scoring 28 goals in the Second and First leagues of Ukraine. In the winter of 2004, he joined "Metalist" in Kharkiv. With the team, he achieved second place in the First League and advanced to the Premier League during the 2003/04 season. He made his debut in the Premier League on July 20, 2004, in a home match against "Metalurg" Donetsk, replacing Anderson Ribeyro in the 72nd minute.

In the summer of 2005, Ibragimov transferred to FC "Kharkiv" and played for the team for two years, participating in 30 matches in the Premier League. In 2006, he was nominated for the Crimean Tatar national team.

In the summer of 2007, he joined "IgroService" in Simferopol and became a key player for the team. However, the club ceased to exist in the summer of 2009, and all players were given the status of free agents. In February 2010, he played for "Foros" in the Crimeanteplic Cup. In the spring of 2010, he played for the "Gurzuf" team in the city championship of Yalta. He later played for "Tavria" in Novotrоitske in the regional championship and "Torpedo" in Nikolaev in the amateur championship of Ukraine. Since winter 2011, he has once again been playing for "Gurzuf".

Eldar Ibragimov is of Crimean Tatar descent. In the early 1990s, he moved to Crimea with his parents from Uzbekistan.
