Emma Wiklund, also known as Emma Sjöberg, is a Swedish photo model and actress. She was born on September 13, 1968, in Stockholm, Sweden. Her father is Swedish, and her mother is from Congo.
Modeling Career
After finishing school, Emma began her modeling career at a local level. She later became the Swedish "Miss Hawaian Tropic." With her 175.5 cm height and proportions of 86.5-61-91.5, the blue-eyed blonde graced the runways for renowned fashion designers such as Thierry Mugler, Christian Lacroix, and the high fashion house Lanvin, created by Jeanne Lanvin. Emma signed a contract with the largest international modeling agency, Elite Model Management, and also appeared in George Michael's music video for the song "Too Funky," alongside other models including Linda Evangelista.
Acting Career
Emma's professional acting career began in 1995, although she had previously appeared in the British TV comedy "Inferno" in 1992, directed by Ellen Von Unwerth. She gained popularity as a French actress, portraying the character Petra, a policewoman, in all four parts of Luc Besson's film series "Taxi." Her filmography also includes the action-comedy "Simon Sez," the short film "Petite copine," and the action film "Big Kiss."
